Located at the top of the Great Dividing Range, approximately 520 meters (1,706 ft) above sea level, Skybury has well-drained, frost-free soil and annual rainfall of around 800 mm per year. This provides the ideal climate to grow our Bourbon variety of Arabica coffee. Every year in October, Skybury’s 90,000 coffee trees bloom spectacularly. Skybury can synchronize this by controlling the irrigation. The perfume of the flowers is compared to the heady scent of jasmine.
