  • 100cc cup
  • Ground coffee for espresso
  • Espresso machine
  • Precision scale
  • Tamper

Instructions

1. Preheat the Mug

  • Place a 100cc cup in the espresso machine to heat up before using it.

2. Prepare the coffee

Option 1: Individual Dose

  • Quantity: Use 10 grams of ground coffee.
  • Placement: Fill the portafilter with 10 grams of coffee.
  • Cups: Place two small cups under the nozzles.
  • Compaction: Use the tamper to press the coffee evenly.

Option 2: Double Dose

  • Quantity: Use 20 grams of ground coffee.
  • Placement: Fill the filter holder with 20 grams.
  • Cups: Place a 100cc cup under the nozzles.
  • Compaction: Press the coffee evenly with the tamper.

3. Perform the Extraction

  • Duration: Start the extraction and let it run for 25 to 35 seconds.
  • Quantity: Make sure you get:
    • Between 20 and 25 grams for the two small cups.
    • Between 40 and 50 grams for the large cup.

4. Froth the Milk

  • Use the milk can to heat and froth the milk until it has a creamy, yet firm texture.
